holds a Subclass 500 Visa to join them in Australia. This visa is designed for the dependents of primary visa
holders who wish to live, study, or work in Australia while their family member completes their course of study.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Subclass 500 Student (Subsequent Entrant) Visa, you must:
- Be a family member of a primary holder of a Subclass 500 Visa.
- Be nominated in the primary visa holder’s original student visa application, or be granted permission to be added as a subsequent entrant
- Meet Medical Examination requirements
- Have sufficient funds to cover your stay in Australia. If you have school-going children, additional funds will be needed
- Maintain adequate health insurance for the duration of your stay
- Fulfill the Genuine Student Dependent criteria, demonstrating your genuine intention to stay in Australia as a family unit member of the main applicant.
